Acupuncture is currently practiced in nearly every area of the world and is used in the prevention and treatment of a wide variety of disorders. Acupuncture is part of a comprehensive medical system known as Chinese medicine and is often used in conjunction with Chinese Herbal Medicine, nutritional counseling and/or lifestyle recommendations. Acupuncture addresses both the symptoms and root of health problems.

Because of this, it can address a large number of medical and psychological disorders with minimal to no side-effects.

Chinese Herbal Medicine

Like Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine is part of the comprehensive medical system known as Chinese Medicine. Chinese herbal medicine uses roots, bark, seeds, leaves and minerals in individual prescriptions that are tailored to treat a specific set of concerns. These prescriptions are based on time-tested formulas, which are carefully designed for maximum effectiveness. Formulas can be customized to meet the unique needs of each individual. Some conditions may respond better to a combination of acupuncture and herbal treatment, or herbal medicine may be used on its own.
